In 2025, the CS (College Sutherland Amsterdam) will start a new course in the visceral field.

 

This course, thought in English, is specially made for osteopaths throughout Europe. With an online introduction (November 2025), the course will start in December with part 1; five days live in Amsterdam in a row. In February 2026 there is another online day, followed by 5 days live in Amsterdam in April. The participation in the course requires basic knowledge of the viscera. The course is based on intensifying knowledge and skills.

In 2023, the WSO (Wiener Schule für Osteopathie) has started a brand new series of online Video-on-demand courses for osteopaths, to help them expand their areas of specialisation.
Their first success story was the launch of a video course in cooperation with Claudia Knox, which focuses on physiological and pathophysiological theory and osteopathic treatment approaches and hypotheses behind the practical treatment of children and babies.

In March 2024 they will finally launch “Paediatrics on demand” as a full video course also in English language!

Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and degree programme in osteopathy warmly welcomes lecturers and students from its partner institutions to exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas as well as to create inspiring networks.

Preliminary programme of the week

The programme starts on Monday morning at 9 am 11 March with an orientation and campus tour for all visiting students. Lectures and workshops will be open for the students from Monday to Friday. The student clinic will be running during the international week. Visiting lecturers are welcome to suggest topics and host workshops during the week. The finalized programme will be sent out in January 2024.

The Croatian Academy of Osteopathy and the Croatian Association of Osteopaths are inviting you to the 2nd Croatian Osteopathic Congress with international participation. The congress will be held in our pearl of the Adriatic, beautiful Opatija.

And here is what the organisers want you to know:

"We worked on gathering excellent domestic and foreign osteopathic experts, as well as experts of other branches of science in body-oriented health care.

The Congress is conceived as a series of lectures and workshops, poster presentations and panels on the topic "New methods and models of work in osteopathy in the time of pandemic and after it – possibilities of multidisciplinary cooperation".

The Master’s Degree in Osteopathy at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is accepting new students for the 2-year online programme (90 ECTS), free of charge for EU/EEA applicants, starting in September 2023.

The programme is designed to provide a springboard for osteopaths in gaining the skills needed to engage in the fields of research, education, business development and societal or political engagement, depending on their own specific interests and is aimed for osteopaths, who have at least two years of working experience and one of the following osteopathic educational backgrounds:

Animal Osteopathy is the fastest growing profession in animal healthcare worldwide. ⁠Through the use of specific techniques developed in human osteopathy, osteopathic treatment addresses the structural and physical needs of an animal to relieve pain, improve movement and prevent injury.⁠

⁠Unlike humans, animals cannot tell us about their pain, hence osteopathic reasoning is largely based on careful observation and manual examination. For example, a dog will communicate their discomfort or pain by displaying changes in personality, behavior, or performance. ⁠

?Animal Osteopathy is available at College Sutherland where they offer a complete course spread over 4 seminars in cooperation with the Faculty of veterinary Medicine in Utrecht. ⁠The course is a beautiful and wonderful opportunity to perfect and to extend your osteopathic skills, and it will contain a lot of practice.

1️⃣ Level 1 or seminar 1 is spread over 4 days from 19 January till 22 January 2023. In this level we primarily emphasize on the Fundamentals of ethology and body work on animals.
