“BECAM 2.0 Animal Osteopathy & Wellness” is a unique event that has the objective to propose the evidence and the efficacy of Animal Osteopathy applied on birds, equines, reptiles, elephants, small animals as dogs and cats, in complete sinergy with others Wellness’ branch of knowledge.

FICO Osteopathy Academy Belgium organises a postgraduate course: Physioenergetics taught by Raimund Engel, May 4^th - 6^th, 2018.

Physioenergetics (also known as Holistic Kinesiology) is a system for diagnosis and treatment using the arm-length-reflex-test (AR) that was developed by the osteopath Raphael Van Assche MSc. D.O..
Using the AR - testing provides us with a way to enter into a dialogue with the patient’s inner physician to find the place to start the treatment and possible causes behind a symptom.
Then testing is used to determine the preferred modality of treatment for the individual patient at the time of the treatment which may be Osteopathy, or another intervention on a psycho-emotional, metabolic or energetic level.

FICO Osteopathy Academy Belgium organises a postgraduate course: Somatic tremors for pain and trauma taught by Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni.

Introduction to Neurodynamic Integration: a somatic approach based on applied neurogenic tremors. Neurogenic tremors (NTs) are often experienced during or following traumatic events and also observed as a result of some osteopathic therapeutic interventions. The physical manifestation of NTs can range from a very gentle shaking of small muscles, up to a vigorous trembling of certain body districts or even of the entire body. Research data supports the notion that some forms of tremors may be functional for mitigating stress and anxiety. Perhaps, this may happen through an effect on central and autonomic nervous system function or as general relaxation effect of the muscular system.

AbeO.S. organises an OsEAN Student Exchange week from May 21^st to 25^th, 2018

and would like to invite students from all OsEAN members’ schools to come, visit, learn and exchange. There will be theoretical lectures, practical lessons with sport and pediatric clinic and all lectures during this week will be in English.

The Accademia Italiana Osteopatia Tradizionale (AIOT) is delighted to invite you to the fifth edition of the International Conference of Osteopathic Medicine from 11^th to 13^th May 2018.
Following the focus given on osteopathic treatment in different clinical areas during the previous editions, main topic for 2018 will be the fundamental principle of our profession, the Somatic Dysfunction.

Dear colleagues,

during the Milan OsEAN live meeting in November 2015, one of our topics was to evaluate if a school had a significant number of female teachers. The evaluation showed that the absolute majority of osteopathy teachers is male, even more extreme in the structural field, especially for manipulations. However, the evaluation of the student gender turned out to be 50% female. This shows how important it is to provide female teachers, especially for manipulations. We need to help each other to tutor female manipulation teachers.
