Virtual International Student Days - March 2021

The first Virtual International Student Day (VISD) took place in March 2021 and was conceived as a fully online event dedicated to osteopathy students at different stages of their education. The programme was structured into Beginner and Advanced streams, allowing participants to engage with content appropriate to their year of study.

Across two days, students explored core osteopathic themes ranging from the foundations of osteopathic manipulation and the legacy of A.T. Still, to fascia, touch, communication, clinical reasoning, pain frameworks, and region-specific approaches. The beginner sessions focused on introducing key concepts and linking theory to clinical practice, while the advanced sessions addressed more complex clinical topics and diagnostic perspectives.
