The Original Osteopathic Philosophy
Original osteopathy was a philosophy founded upon the works of Aristotle, Goethe, Kant (to name but a few). Practical application of a two-step method leads to First Principles: a reasoning in relation to anatomy, physiology and pathology in the treatment of influenza, typhoid and malaria.

The translation of the Philosophy and Principles of Osteopathy into a 2023 Zeitgeist and terminology.
Students often struggle to understand and apply the Philosophy and Principles of Osteopathy in the clinical work, because they lack guidance in the translation of the historical terminology and insights. Once the student is guided in this translation, the student is enabled to apply these insights in the clinic and the full potential of the application of the osteopathic philosophy is unlocked. Students who do not understand the philosophy often ask for ‘silver bullets’ to apply in the clinic because they are convinced that osteopathy is a recipe, instead of a concept. This lecture will empower the student to apply the osteopathy philosophy and reveal the true potential of osteopathic medicine.

Wholism, what the embryo can teach us and how do we live this later in child and adult life.
After fertilization, the conceptus undergoes several profound transformations that give rise to the fact that parts of the original whole are no part of the so called embryo anymore... As we live the extrauterine life, also the neurological perspective of self builds up, and our cultures helps big deal in that concrete shaping.
What does all of this mean for the principle of "wholism"?
My personal look on this principle is that this is best approached from a dialectic point of view instead that from an absolute perspective.

Why are we conscious subject? In relation to this process, the perception is very important. What meaning perception? which are the concepts related?
