International Clinical Dissection Program at McGill Univerity

McGill Dissection Program July 2019

The International Clinical Dissection Program is a summer course offered by McGill University in beautiful Montreal, Canada.  The program is designed to give students a greater sense of confidence in human anatomy and dissection procedures, through clinically-oriented exposure. The program offers also an osteopathic point of view since Gabriel Venne (leade of the program) is an osteopath himself.

The entire program last 4 weeks, from July 8 – August 2, 2019, though students can choose one or more dissection workshops from the following:  Head & Neck (1-week), Trunk (2-week), or Limbs & Back (1-week).  Upon completion, participants can expect to demonstrate a higher competency of dissection skills, be able to illustrate and explain anatomical concepts, and correlate anatomical structures to clinical practice.  Instruction is overseen by McGill anatomy professors, with an average instructor-to-student ratio of 1:4.

Leader of the program is Gabriel Venne, BSc (Hons), D.O., MSc, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University.
