Registration for the Barcelona Osteopathic Congress 2019 has been opened. The convention will be held on 18^th and 19^th May 2019 on the occasion of the 20 years of our academic project. Under the title "Axis of the intestine brain and the breath of life: Clinical approach of different health disorders due to the alteration of the brainstem and brain axis" there will be nine lectures and four workshops. The congress, which will be held at the H10 Marina Barcelona and at the facilities of the Escola d’Osteopatia de Barcelona (EOB), will be attended by 12 speakers of international relevance.

Both the quality of the speakers and the subject to be addressed, of current clinical interest, make this convention an outstanding event at the academic level. Throughout the first day, the conference will host lectures by guest speakers: Phil Austin, Carles Blanch, Nathalie Camirand, Karen Carroll, Tajinder Kaur Deoora, Monika Ebner, Cherionna Menzam-Sills Arantxa Quintana, Silvia Vicente Pérez and René Zweedijk. On the second day, attendees can participate in one of the four workshops given by Cherionna Menzam-Sills, Monika Ebner, Nathalie Camirand and Tajinder K. Deoora.
On the other hand, the Barcelona Osteopathic Congress 2019 has an outstanding social aspect, since it will be a meeting place for all those people who, during these 20 years, have made the EOB project possible.
Throughout these two decades we have made an important journey and from the EOB we want to thank the trust you have placed in us. This support has allowed us to advance together and be one of the engines that have made the current scenario of osteopathy in our society; a discipline increasingly recognized socially. From the school, the teaching field of the Fundació d’Osteopatia de Barcelona (FOB) ,we will continue working with the firm purpose and commitment to continue promoting Osteopathy so that it is recognized as a health profession of first intention.
